IDIBELL is looking for a Post-Award Administrative for the Competitive Calls unit
About the unit
IDIBELL Competitive Calls unit provides support to researchers throughout the lifecycle of competitive research projects to contribute to the leadership of IDIBELL in biomedical research.
Post-Award is in charge of supporting researcher in the management of awarded competitive grants from a large variety of funding bodies, including Instituto de Salud Carlos III (ISCIII), Ministerio de Ciencia, Fundació La Marató de TV3, European Commission and National Institutes of Health (NIH).
About the role
The main duties for this position are the following:
- To provide support in the economical reporting of competitive grants
- Update and maintain the information and documentation in the system
- To provide support in preparing documentation for the external audits of grants
- Contribute to the improvement of internal processes
- Perform general administrative tasks for the Post-award unit
Job requirements
Professional experience
- Experience in administrative role, preferably related to research project management
Education and training
- CFGM in finances, administration or similar
Technical and personal skills
- Good numerical skills
- Team player with good interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
- Advanced user of MS Office (MS Word, Excel and Power Point).
- Well-organised person with very good attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines
- Flexible and adaptable person
Languages
- Fluent in Spanish
- Good command of the English language
- A good knowledge of Catalan is highly desirable

- Previous experience in a health/biomedical research environment

Selection process
- Pre-selection: The pre-selection process will consist on an eligibility check based on qualifications and expertise reflected on the candidate's CV.
- Interview: Best positioned, pre-selected candidates may be called to arrange an interview. Candidates will be interviewed by the hiring manager and an ad hoc selection panel.
- Formal offer letter: Once identified, the Talent Unit will send a job offer to the successful candidate indicating start date, salary, working conditions, and any additional relevant details.
